How to use Be.EV Ultra-Rapid Chargers

Thanks for choosing to charge with us today. Here are some helpful tips to get your charging session underway using our ultra-rapid chargers, scroll down for both Kempower and Raption 150 instructions:

Kempower

To start charging 

  • Step 1: Select the left or right connector by tapping the touch screen or pressing the button.
  • Step 2: Either: 
    1. Present your Be.EV Member RFID card to the RFID reader 
    2. Present your contactless card to the contactless terminal, or 
    3. Select the connector you wish to use on the Be.EV app and press 'start'
  • Step 3: Plug in and charging will begin 

To stop charging 

  • Step 1: Ensure your EV is unlocked
  • Step 2: Select your connector on the charger screen and press 'stop'
  • Step 3: If requested, re-present the payment method you started with to the RFID reader/ contactless terminal or on the Be.EV app 

Raption 150

To start charging using the Be.EV app 

  • Step 1: Touch screen to start
  • Step 2: Select the connector you wish to use on the app and press ‘start’
  • Step 3: Select the connector on-screen you wish to use
  • Step 4: Plug in
  • Step 5: Press start on screen 

To start charging using a Be.EV Member RFID card or contactless  

  • Step 1: Touch screen to start
  • Step 2: Select the payment method on screen you wish to use (RFID card or contactless)
  • Step 3: Present card to RFID reader or contactless terminal
  • Step 4: Select the connector on-screen you wish to use
  • Step 5: Plug in to your vehicle
  • Step 6: Press start on screen 

To stop charging 

  • Step 1: Ensure your EV is unlocked
  • Step 2: Select your connector on the charger screen and press 'stop'
  • Step 3: If requested, re-present the payment method you started with to the RFID reader/contactless terminal or on the Be.EV app
